SOUND HER OUT is a campaign dedicated to empowering women to explore and pursue careers across the music industry.
Founded by Bek Jones and Rachael McEntee, the project was created to challenge the barriers women often face and to open up real, practical pathways into roles both on stage and behind the scenes.
Through workshops, mentoring and hands‑on sessions at The Snug in Atherton, the campaign offers a supportive space where women can build skills, gain confidence and connect with industry professionals who understand the realities of working in music.

‘Just come down and try it. Even if you're on your own, it's a really welcoming environment.’
The Lottery Winners
Kate Lloyd from The Lottery Winners supports Sound Her Out as brand ambassador, helping raise the profile of the campaign and championing opportunities for women across the music industry.
