Craftopia CIC is a creative community hub using arts and crafts to support mental health and wellbeing — and their work with older adults and adults is at the heart of what they do.
Their sessions offer a calm, welcoming space where people can reconnect, build confidence and enjoy the therapeutic benefits of making. From relaxed craft socials to guided workshops in pottery, painting and textiles, each class is designed to reduce isolation, spark conversation and help people feel part of a supportive community.

“I was in a place where I couldn’t see a future for myself. Craftopia gave me a reason to keep going and I met people who made me feel worth something again.”
They also runs engaging creative sessions for children, including after‑school clubs and school‑holiday activities. These sessions give young people a safe, friendly space to explore their imagination, learn new skills and express themselves through hands‑on making.
Alongside their general kids’ sessions, Craftopia has recently launched Creative Futures, a dedicated SEND after‑school programme designed with neurodivergent needs in mind. Whether it’s themed craft projects, messy play or seasonal activities, every class is designed to be fun, inclusive and confidence‑boosting, helping kids build friendships and discover the joy of creativity.

“Craftopia gave my child a space where they aren’t judged, rushed or misunderstood. Watching them open up, make friends and enjoy being creative has been life‑changing for our family.”
